This town is home to one of BC’s most popular parks & hidden hot springs

Ready to explore the stunning Pemberton Valley this fall? We don’t blame you, and we’re here to share some of the most incredible natural attractions and fall events coming up.

Situated just 20 minutes north of Whistler, Pemberton has plenty of hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and pumpkin-picking opportunities to offer visitors, all the while surrounded by surreal fall landscapes.

According to Tourism Pemberton, the town’s recreational activities are world-class, so whether you’re trying your hand at horseback riding or white water rafting, or hitting the ski slopes, there’s something for every outdoor enthusiast here.

Natural hot springs

One of the town’s main attractions is its natural hot springs, which can be found at Skookumchuck/Tsek Hot Springs and Sloquet Hot Springs. The former features tub-style pools, located one and a half hours north of the village of Pemberton along the Lillooet River.

The latter consists of several small pools concealed in a wooded, wilderness area two hours away from the town, on the traditional territory of the Xa’xtsa First Nation. The pools are considered a “hidden treasure,” according to its website, as they’re nestled in a valley with the Sloquet Creek running alongside them.

These hot springs are open year-round and offer visitors a chance to unwind on a first-come-first-served basis.
