A party on wheels: Pedal Pub has been making waves all summer and there’s still time to try it for yourself

You’ve probably spotted them cruising around downtown. There’s noise, there’s music, there’s a party bike full of people, and they’re coming around the corner at 5km/hour. Pedal Pub is a summer staple in downtown Calgary, and they’re serving up great beer and good vibes.

It all starts with one very big bike. Hop aboard with your 15 closest friends and enjoy a scenic tour of downtown along one of Pedal Pub’s 3 available routes. There will be beer, music, off-key singing, and a few stops at some of Calgary’s favourite breweries and pubs.

You’ll be pedalling the whole time (goodbye beer calories), but don’t worry, there’s someone else steering the ship. Pedal Pub is a unique way to explore downtown and discover some hidden gems while making the most of Calgary’s sunny weather. You can book it for private events like a birthday, bachelorette, or stag. You can also purchase individual tickets for an upbeat date night or day out. Pedal Pub also accepts larger bookings for corporate events. Have you ever seen your manager sing karaoke? This is the next best thing.

The beloved pedal-powered patio has 3 routes in Calgary to try from Beltline to Inglewood. Visit the best spots in the city, give your song requests to the Beerless Leaders onboard, and sing your heart out as you pedal through the city on a 2-hour tour. Don’t worry, you’ll get to rest your feet at a few of the best breweries and pubs in town. If you’re just there for the ride and good times, there are non-pedalling seats and non-alcoholic bevvies available.

The infamous Pedal Pub will be available until October 31st (can you imagine how cool it would be to roll up on Halloween like this). Make the journey as fun as the destination, and you can always book seats for weeknight events, too!

Don’t miss out on one of the most unique experiences in Calgary. Touch your toes and do your stretches – it’s time to pedal party!
