Who’s ready for another adventure with Parkbus before summer’s official end? We’ve talked about their service to Garibaldi Lake as well as Joffre Lakes earlier in the summer, so we thought we’d remind everyone that they’re still operating for a couple more weeks.

Luckily, folks without car access can still access the beautiful nature and hiking surrounding both lakes. Simply take the Parkbus from downtown Vancouver (near Burrard Station) and visit the stunning provincial park, car and hassle-free. And if you’re inclined to take a colder plunge into one of the lakes – we say go for it!

You can bus from Vancouver to Joffre or Garibaldi until Saturday, October 8th. Currently, there are spots available to both destinations right up until the 8th, including slots on September 17th, 24th, 25th, and Saturday, October 1st.

Parkbus will drop visitors off at the official trailhead for Joffre Lakes Provincial Park and Rubble Creek Trailhead at Garibaldi respectively. The journey is approximately three hours from Vancouver to Joffre and 1.5 hours to Garibaldi, but the coach seating, air conditioning, and onboard bathroom will make both a comfy trip. Best of all? Day-use reservations are not required for Parkbus passengers!

The pick-up location from Vancouver is located downtown at 1025 Dunsmuir Street, adjacent to the Bank of China.

We’ll see catch you on the Parkbus, Vancouver!
