Popular South Korean cafe and bakery Paris Baguette is opening three new locations in Canada very soon and here’s what to know.
According to the chain’s website, new Toronto, Edmonton, and Calgary locations will be opening at some point soon. At the moment, the website only states where they will be located rather than when.
These will be Edmonton’s and Calgary’s first locations and the second for the Toronto area.
Paris Baguette recently opened its third storefront in Canada, right in Newmarket, Ontario.
According to the chain, it “saw remarkable growth in 2023 with close to 30 locations opened in the U.S. and Canada.”
The new storefront also happened to be its first corporate location in the country.

“Paris Baguette plans to add to this expansion by opening additional cafés this year, including another corporate café, as well as several more locations in 2024,” shared the chain in a press release.
Back when Paris Baguette shared announcements of its first opening, they had stated they planned to open about seven locations in Canada this year.
At the time it shared that its growth in Canada would be concentrated in Ontario, focusing on the Greater Toronto Area. Alberta, namely in Edmonton and Calgary, as well as Vancouver, were also mentioned.d
Paris Baguette operates a whopping 3,600+ cafés in South Korea, and around 185 in China, Vietnam, Singapore, France, and the U.S.
The bakeshop is known for serving a variety of gourmet sandwiches, cakes, baked goods, breads, and salads, as well as seasonal beverages, coffee, tea, and more.
