Praise the food gods, Panda Express locations have reopened! Now, we can get our favourite fast-casual Chinese food for takeout and delivery. In case you’ve been living under a flavourless rock, here’s the scoop on Panda Express.
Panda Express is a fast-casual Chinese eatery with two Calgary locations, an online app, and Cream Cheese Rangoons. Seriously people, if you haven’t had a Cream Cheese Rangoon, you need to get on it stat. Crispy outside? Good. Cream cheese filling? Goood. Put ‘em together into one appetizer? Goooooooooood.
Anyways, we’re here to tell you about their newest deal that will keep your family fed, happy, AND on budget. Until May 31st, they are offering up $30 Family Meals. Yep, for only $30, you’ll get a family meal that includes 2 large sides and 3 large entrees. Enough to feed a family, or hey, just yourself if you’re determined enough! Every family meal is a personal meal if you try hard and believe in yourself…? No judgment here. Only tasty, tasty, Chinese food.
Now, onto the most important part. Food options, of course. For the sides, our favourite picks are the Chow Mein Noodles and Fried Rice, because duh. For the entrees, the Beijing Beef, Original Orange Chicken, and SweetFire Chicken Breast are our go-to’s. Seriously, the Original Orange Chicken is their signature dish for a reason.
If you’re looking for something on the healthier side, Panda Express has plenty of options. Opt for the Steamed White Rice and Super Greens as your sides. For the entrees, keep an eye out their Wok Smart options. These entrees are packed with fresh veggies and protein. Healthy eats, meet major flavour. Our personal favourites? Kung Pao Chicken and the Black Pepper Chicken. They are lighter on the calories, but pack major flavour, taking you on a one-way trip to flavourtown.
Keep in mind though, folks! This promo is only valid when you order online through their website, or on the Panda Express app. You’ll also want to remember that if you do want to add a Premium Item to your Family Meal, you will incur an additional charge. For items like Firecracker Shrimp? Definitely worth the extra $4.50.
