North America’s largest pop-up art movement is in Seattle soon & will have free pancakes

Love art and pancakes? Good news! The largest pop-up art movement to hit North America is coming to Seattle, and it also has a FREE pancake bar! Taking place in Seattle on April 20th, The Pancakes & Booze Art Show will feature over 70 artists.

Not only that, the one day event will also have live body painting, live DJ sets, live art, as well as, well… the pancakes.

The experience introduces the audience to some of the “nation’s leading emerging artists.”

The Pancakes & Booze Art Show was started by an LA based event back in 2009, and has since popped up more than 500 times in 35+ cities around Europe & North America, according to its organizers.

“Batter sizzles, beer foams, and canvas lines the walls from ceiling to floor as hundreds, sometimes thousands, of revelers indulge in endless pancakes,” the event states.

“This is no stuffy wine-and-cheese, pretentious, someone-gag-me art event. It’s an innovative reimagining of the art show concept. A welcoming vibe for up-and-coming artists to sell and strut their stuff in a free verse, anything goes environment.”

If you are an artist, art submissions are open, and you can send them through the event website.
