Hungry? You better be, because a Whyte Avenue favourite has just opened a brand new restaurant and you’re going to want to have room for seconds… and maybe even dessert!

Aptly named Pal’s Sandwich Bar, this tasty new spot serves, desserts, cocktails and you guessed it, sandwiches, similar to the ones you fell in love with at their sister restaurant, Pip.

From meaty stacks with mustard to egg salad and meatball subs – these folks have perfected the art of bread, cheese and surprise – then decided to serve it with an ice cold negroni.

“Believe it or not, we’re not just about sandwiches!” they wrote on their Instagram, “We’ve also got a great lineup of classic cocktails coming your way,” and boy did they deliver!
