Luckily after having to cancel last year’s event due to COVID, Packwood Grand, one of Alberta’s snazziest soirees will go ahead this August and you won’t want to miss it!
For those who have never heard of Packwood Grand before, we’ve got just 4 words to paint a picture for you. Fancy hats, champagne and horse races. Late this summer you’ll find all three of those things in Calgary on August 7th and Edmonton on August 28th.

Founded in 2014, this is really where socialites go to network, where the fashion-forward go to to be seen and where everyone goes to drink champagne and eat amazing food in the sun.
After working closely with AHS, Tyler Rygus, Co-Director of the annual event said that they were confident that the luxurious event will take place this summer, though it has been pushed two weeks later than originally scheduled.
This was done just to allow more time for people to get vaccinated, see restrictions ease and feel safe being around other people again.
“We have worked with vendors and partners to ensure we can make changes as needed, and to ensure that we can appropriately provide ticket holders with refund or exchange options should the event be postponed as a result of the health situation,” added Rygus in the press release.

“We hope that this announcement provides another incentive to do what we can to manage the health situation now, to get back to a level or normal in the coming months.”
