Washington’s only living tree museum is lighting up for one night of holiday fun

The Pacific Bonsai Museum is one of Washington’s most unique museums. It’s home to a collection of some of the finest examples of bonsai in the world making it one of a kind. This holiday season it is lighting up for a limited time, giving you a totally new and festive way to see the trees.

The museum’s living collection is extremely geographically diverse, with trees from across the globe including countries like Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and the United States. On Saturday, December 16th, you’ll have a chance to see the collection illuminated with soft holiday lights for the Winter Bonsai Solstice.

Guests are invited to take an evening stroll among the beautiful bonsai and then stay to enjoy treats, gift shopping, and hot chocolate.

As a family-friendly tradition, people of all ages are welcome and the event is accessible by donation. The suggested donation is $0-$12 but keep in mind that whatever you donate goes to help keep this amazing museum open. No reservations or advance tickets are needed, simply show up and enjoy the trees.
