November 11th is nearly here and many will have the day off to attend ceremonies and memorials. For this reason, it’s important to note which city services will and will not be available on Friday. From grocery stores, malls and government offices, here’s what is open and closed in Calgary on Remembrance Day this year.

Hoping to catch a flick this Friday? Landmark CinemasCineplex and Calgary’s cheap theatre, Canyon Meadows, will all be open all weekend long.

MALLS

Though we’d recommend checking their hours before heading out, Southcentre Mall, CrossIron MillsCF Chinook Centre, CF Market Mall and The CORE Shopping Centre will all be open on November 11th.
