Though we’d recommend checking their hours before heading out, Southcentre Mall, CrossIron MillsCF Chinook Centre, CF Market Mall and The CORE Shopping Centre will all be open on May 22nd.

HERITAGE PARK

Happy Victoria Day! This year, check out Calgary’s living history museum, Heritage Park, for a day of programming, food and sunshine.

CITY-OWNED RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND LEISURE CENTRES

Sorry, folks – but the following facilities will be closed on Monday, May 22, 2023:

all other recreation facilities will have modified hours of operation.

POST OFFICES

Whether it’s an Amazon return or an invitation – it’ll have to wait! This Victoria Day (and every stat holiday) the post office will be closed.

COSTCO

While grocery and convenience stores will be open this Friday, Costco will be unshoppable this Monday Looks like you’ll have to get your massive hot do fix before May 22nd.

GOVERNMENT OFFICES

From the passport office to the DMV, all government offices will be closed on Labour Day.

PARKING 

As per their website, Calgary Parking Authority impound lots will be closed on May 22nd this year. In addition, no payment is required for on-street parking, though holiday rates will be in effect at select parkades and select surface lots.
