It’s almost cottage season here in Ontario, but if you don’t have a Muskoka invitation lined up for the spring, fear not because there are plenty of Airbnbs in Ontario you can rent with friends that are just as good, if not better.
This epic property in Prince Edward County is called the SnowOwl retreat, but despite its name, this home looks like it belongs on the shores of Malibu.
The minimalist, industrial-chic home features a heated infinity pool that’s open from May to September, making it ideal for a spring getaway with friends.
The home has four bedrooms and can accommodate a maximum of eight guests. If you split the cost evenly between eight people, you’d each be paying around $140 to $160 per night, according to the current pricing.
The rental sits on eight acres of land and has about 1,500 sq ft of deck space — more than enough for you and the squad to relax comfortably.
You’ll be able to gaze out at a crystal blue lake while you swim as the SnowOwl Retreat sits on a cliff above Picton Bay.
Not only do the bedrooms also have some pretty spectacular views, but the floor-to-ceiling windows in the main bathroom also allow you to watch the sunset while you take a soak in the bathtub.
There are some house rules you’ll need to make note of before your stay, especially if you plan on using the pool. But, the outdoor amenities are far from the only key features of this rental.
The home is located right next to Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park and Waupoos Winery, so you’ll definitely want to bring your bike and hiking shoes along.
Other nearby stops include The Inn at Lake on the Mountain Resort, the miller house, and the Lake on the Mountain Brewing Company which is just a 10-minute walk from the house. Plus, you’ll be completely immersed in the charm of Prince Edward County.
