Are you a student or know of a student in need of a summer job? Look no further! The government of Ontario is looking to fill various roles this summer and there are still positions available. From office roles to working in provincial parks, here’s what to know about the available Ontario government student summer jobs.

There are hundreds of opportunities through the Summer Employment Opportunities Program students can apply to, including Student Office Assistant roles.

The government of Ontario has 507 positions to fill in the Student Office Assistant sector alone in regions such as Aurora, Burlington, Brampton, Barrie, Concord, Midhurst, Milton, Markham and  Mississauga just to name a few.

Want to spend time outdoors this summer? There are student jobs available where you can do so.

The government of Ontario lists 1615 jobs through Ontario Parks and ten roles through the Agriculture sector for Livestock and Field Crops.

If you’re a lifeguard, there’s work for you as well! Student lifeguards are needed to fill 17 jobs in the areas of Earl Rowe Provincial Park (Alliston), Central Region and London, West Region.

These jobs will range from six to 18 weeks between the months of May and September.

Salary starts at $16.55 an hour and goes up to $17.40 an hour.

To qualify, you must be an Ontario resident and at least 15 years of age, enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution, or must have graduated within the past six months, and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
