That being said, if you’re in need of a new phone or would like to change up your plan, several phone companies in Ontario are offering Black Friday deals as low as $34 a month. Interested? Cellphone plans can be very expensive in the province, especially if you’re a heavy data user. The best time to change your plan, get a new phone, or score a really good promo is during a sale, especially Black Friday.
Depending on the offer, you could even get a waived connection fee.

Virgin Mobile
Need a plan with a good amount of data? Virgin Mobile’s Black Friday plan offers 40GB of data, and unlimited talk and text. It’s a 4G LTE network for $34 a month – for new activations only.

Koodo
Love your current phone but need a new plan? Koodo’s Black Friday promo plan is $34 a month and includes 40GB of data, and unlimited talk and text on a 4G LTE network. This offer is only available if you bring your own phone.
You can also get one free perk added to your plan like unlimited international text and premium voicemail.

Fido
There are two promo options available for new Fido bring your own phone activations, which is like the others – $34 a month, 40GB of data, and unlimited talk and text on a 4G LTE network.
The other offer is a $45, 30GB, unlimited talk and text plan but you can get an extra 20 GB of data and $5 off for 24 months. “That’s a total of 50GB for only $40/mo after Automatic Payments Discount. Data bonus will appear on your 2nd or 3rd invoice.”

Freedom
Again, just like the others, Freedom is also offering 40GB of data, and unlimited talk and text for $34 a month. However it’s on a 5G network and if you need a new phone, the plan is still available for you, for an extra $5.
But, if you sign up for pre-authorized payments, you can get a $5 phone credit for 24 months.

Telus
This is no joke. If you’re a big data user, this plan may be best for you. Get 120GB of data, unlimited talk, text on Telus’ 5G network for $75 per month.
If you are getting a new phone with Telus, the plan goes up an additional $10.
“Savings include a $10 monthly bill credit for two years when you get a new phone or bring your own device,” shares the site.

Bell
If looking to get home services with Bell, there’s a phone plan at $55 with 120GB of shareable data, and unlimited talk and text on its 5G network.
It’s important to note that this plan is only available in a home service bundle as a monthly $30 credit is added to your account.
The plan was originally $85 a month.

Rogers
Rogers offers the exact same plan as Bell, when it is paired with a home service and pre-authorized payments are activated.
The plan is a $55 promo with 120GB of data, and unlimited talk and text on its 5G network.
