Love hole in the wall spots? Well, Seattle’s beloved Sankuku pop-up just opened its first permanent location inside of Melrose Market. It’s not exactly a hole in the wall but it’s tucked away and if you didn’t know where to look you might just miss it. Let’s check it out.

Sankaku opened its doors right next to Butter Home inside of Melrose Market in early January. Their spot is small, minimal and features a white and bright decor. They’ve started off slow and steady with a small menu full of delicious items. You can score onigiri with fillings like ume, salmon basil, tuna mayo, and more.

Be sure to check Sankaku’s Instagram for current hours as they appear to change regularly. That being said if you’re in the area it’s well worth swinging back to see if they’re open treat yourself to an onigiri.
