An off-the-grid treehouse on Perkins Lane just hit the market for under $250k

Perkins Lane is one of Magnolias most exclusive streets, known mostly for both its beauty. Homes have sweeping views of Elliot Bay, the city, and mountains making it a highly desirable location.

Normally, real estate prices in the area cost upwards of millions of dollars, but an off the grid treehouse on the street has just been listed for under $250k.

The treehouse has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom all squeezed into 650 square feet. It is divided into two levels, a bottom floor with a bathroom, kitchen, outdoor deck and living space and a top floor with room for a bed. There is also a “sophisticated water catchment purification system.”

According to Premier Real Estate Partners, the home was “expertly fashioned by the esteemed Treehouse Masters in 2014.”

At this time, the aesthetic is pretty bare bones but it also means you have a blank canvas to create the simple living space of your dreams. With the wonders of Puget Sound and Discovery Park nearly outside your door, it’s a perfect base for a true PNW outdoors person.

The property is currently listed for $229,995 with Musab El-Himri of Premier Real Estate Partners.

What a price to pay to live on Perkins Lane.
