Pup parents will soon be able to have just as much fun as their pets at the dog park. A new off-leash dog park in Toronto will have a bar where you can order drinks and socialize while your pup plays.
The new 4,800-square-foot park is called the Bark Yard and it’ll be located at the new Community Lane project at stackt Market.
According to the description, Bark Yard will “feature a bar where pet parents can quench their thirst while their dogs can roam freely.”
“A dreamland for pet owners and pet lovers alike, it promises to provide an elevated experience for all to come together to meet fellow neighbours, see a unique destination and attend a wide range of weekly events.”

Stackt also hosts a dog-friendly social meetup called Brews + Chews every other week, returning for the summer season on July 13.
Community Lane will be located on the north side of stackt, repurposing an empty laneway into a 12,000-square-foot public space dedicated to activity, creativity, and connection.
Also soon-to-be located in Community Lane is the Pocket Park, a green space and public seating area featuring a community pollinator garden by Bowery Project and a collection of murals.
It wil also be home to the Play Zone, a 3,500-square-foot creative space that includes a community basketball court, spectator seating, and a live radio station showcasing local talent.
The soft opening of Bark Yard will be held on July 29 with live acoustic music, drink specials, and tasty treats.
After that, the gates will be open for local pets and their parents to enjoy all summer and beyond.
