The Nutcracker returns to Seattle at PNB this month & here’s what to expect

Is there a more classic holiday tradition than the Nutcracker ballet? Probably not. Here in Seattle we’re especially lucky to have the Pacific Northwest Ballet and their amazing crew of dancers. This year they’re back with yet another unforgettable holiday season performance schedule and here’s what to expect.

From November 25th until December 27th, Seattleites and visitors alike can head to McCaw Hall to watch as the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s school and professional company bring the classic holiday tale to life. Watch as Clara navigates the joys and obstacles of The Land of Snow all under the classic choreography of George Balanchine.

If you haven’t been to the Nutcracker in a few years, now is the perfect time to go. You’ll no longer find the Maurice Sendak set design but rather, a new and ornate ballet full of bright back drops and dazzling textured costumes brought to life by the dancers. It’s truly fun for everyone.

As this is a popular holiday tradition we recommend planning ahead and purchasing your tickets now. You can find tickets available for most dates with both matinee and evening shows. With that, enjoy The Land of Snow.

The Nutcracker at PNB
