Looking for a local outdoor adventure to wrap up your summer? Besides checking out one of Washington’s epic swimming holes, you can head to Spokane to experience the Numerica SkyRide!

Once named one of the top 12 scenic cable rides in the world, the Numerica SkyRide will take you above Spokane Falls, giving you the best views of the region.

“The Numerica SkyRide offers spectacular and accessible upfront views of the Spokane River and Spokane Falls that run through downtown Spokane,” states the City of Spokane.

“Enjoy a 15 minute, round-trip, ride in an ‘all weather’ enclosed cabin past art deco City Hall, gradually drop down 200 feet over the Huntington Park Natural Area, across the Spokane River in front of one set of falls, under the historic Monroe Street Bridge and return to Riverfront Park.”

While trip can be taken at the start of a Riverfront Park experience, it is recommend to check it out in the end as “it makes the perfect capstone to a day’s adventure.”

Generally, it is best enjoyed between March through June “when water is raging,” although this is also offers awesome sights outside of that window. Speaking of window, the cabin windows open for clear photos!

Be sure to spend time in the 100-acres of beauty that makes Riverfront Park Spokane an epic urban oasis. It is described as “the jewel of downtown Spokane,” with lots to check out besides the SkyRide.

Enjoy these last few weeks of summer!
