Do you go to bed at a reasonable time? Well, while you may have woken up fully rested this morning, you missed the spectacular Northern Lights show that happened over Canada last night – luckily, there are plenty of photos of all the action!

In mesmerizing shades of green and purple, the Aurora Borealis danced across the sky from midnight into the early morning hours of Monday, April 24th and it was a sight to behold.

Gorgeous, right? Well, don’t fret if you missed them!

This certainly won’t be the last time we see them in the more southern cities, because the sun is currently mid-way through its 11-year cycle in which geomagnetic storms are more intense and happen more frequently.

As we near its 2025 peak, keep your eyes on the sky, jr. astronomers! It surely won’t be long until we see another Northern Lights display across Canada! Until then, we’ll be waiting!

Good luck and enjoy!
