Do you go to bed at a reasonable time? Well, you may have woken up fully rested this morning, but you missed the spectacular Northern Lights show that happened over Alberta last night. Luckily, in addition to there being plenty of photos of all the action, they could make an appearance again tonight!

In mesmerizing shades of green and purple, the Aurora Borealis danced across the sky from midnight into the early morning hours of Monday, February 27th and they may dazzle us again this evening.

As always it was a sight to behold, so here are just some of the mesmerizing images captured past midnight.

Amazing right? Well, if you missed it last night, there’s a pretty good chance you’ll see them again this evening.

According to the University Of Alaska Fairbanks, Astronomy North and the Aurora Forecast Albertans could see another show on February 27th-28th – so stay optimistic! Nothing is promised and visibility could depend on the weather in your area, but it’s looking good!

Our advice? Head north of whatever city you live in far away from light pollution. Who knows you could be among the lucky ones!

Good luck and remember to tag us in your photos and enjoy!
