These Vancouver bars rank among the best in the world

The list of North America’s 50 Best Bars is out for 2024, and two Vancouver bars earned their rightful places on the prestigious list. Comprised of renowned spots from across the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean, the ranking spotlights some of the best sips in North America!

Vancouver’s Botanist sits at the #24 spot, recognized for its sophisticated, airy atmosphere and seasonal cocktail and mocktail menu:

“The tight-knit bar team led by beverage director Grant Sceney, draws inspiration from the natural bounty of the Pacific Northwest, sourcing and foraging local ingredients to mix into drinks that are equal parts showpiece and storytelling” reads the ranking.

With two of the top 5 best bars in Mexico City (Handshake Speakeasy and Rayo) along with New York’s famed Overstory and Civil Liberties in Toronto, these Vancouver awardees are certainly in good company.

The second Vancouver bar recognized is The Keefer Bar, which sits at the #49 spot.

Located in the city’s historic Chinatown, The Keefer is known for its “apothecary-inspired drinks” and happy hour specials, which include half-priced dim sum and a selection of six cocktails priced between $6 and $8.

Guests can enjoy these deals from 4 to 6 pm Sunday to Friday.

So the next time you’re looking for a new bar to try, consider checking out either of these coveted spots!

Congratulations to all the Canadian bars that made North America’s 50 Best Bars list.

Cheers!
