Gear up people, for one of Ontario’s largest and beloved fall fests is here— the 2022 Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show. After being cancelled once and then making a restricted return over the past two years, the fair is making a grand return this year.
No, we aren’t exaggerating when we say “grand.” There’s going to be tons to keep the whole fam entertained. This includes music, food, drinks, games, motorsports, horse show, high diving show, pumpkin competition, craft exhibits, agricultural displays (PHEW!!) and plenty more.
This year the focus of the fair is on embracing and spotlighting the local community. And you’ll notice this theme across all entertainment and shopping experiences. Yes, shopping!
The 2022 fair debuts the Norfolk Fair Market. You’ll find local artisans, makers, food producers, and other creators. Meaning, that there’ll be a lot of cool stuff to snag.
The market isn’t the only new feature at the fair this year, there are others as well. Take, for example, the fun performance by popular children’s performers Splash’N Boots. Or the aww-inducing Super Dogs dog show (definitely looking forward to this one).
As for the music, well, it continues to be one of the biggest highlights of the fair. There’ll be local musicians rocking the Lounge 5 Stage every evening. And there will be the Party on the Track concert series which features popular Canadian bands Hunter Brothers and Walk Off The Earth.
You can catch the Hunter Brothers on Friday, October 7th, 2022 and Walk Off The Earth on Saturday, October 8th, 2022.
The fair runs from Tuesday, October 4th to Monday, October 10th, 2022. And all tickets are currently on sale.
