Toronto, we love ya! Whenever there’s a chance to represent our wonderful city, we’re all for it. Nike has released a special edition of its Air Max 95 in honour of our city. And if you’re looking to get your hands on a pair, here’s what to know.
The beloved 90’s silhouette has been transformed to capture the “heart and soul” of Toronto.
“A city for creators and purveyors, it welcomes people of all walks to bring their passions, talents, traditions, ideas and culture,” shares Nike on its website.
“Well, Toronto—this one’s for you.”

Toronto-inspired
The shoe manages to emulate the essence of Toronto through its colours – White, University Red and Blue Jay.
According to Nike, “the white layer symbolizes the clouds above and the limitless opportunity.”
The touch of grey represents Yonge Street and metaphorically cuts the shoe in half, just like the street divides the city, states Nike.
It features a removable Air Max tag on the tongue to unveil “EAST END” and “WEST END”
“The gradient treatment on the lower layer nods to all of Canada’s sports teams as well as the glow you see at night,” shares the brand.
“The red Swoosh logo is a natural ode to Canada, while the black proves it’s built for all seasons—just like the enduring Torontonians.”
The heel features a reflective strip that when light hits it, the CN Tower appears.
The Nike Air Max 95 Premium Toronto is available in men’s sizing only and is priced at $240 plus tax.

Where to find them
Nike released the shoe a few days ago but you can still find them online or in select stores. Knowing sneakerheads in our city, it may be hard to find average sizes but you could score your size online.

At the time of writing, the Air Max 95’s are available at JD Sports Canada, KITH Canada, Rooney Online, Size? and NRML
In-store
You can check out local stores such as Livestock, Capsule and Nike, in person.
Nike stores with possible stock include: Yorkdale, Eaton Centre, Sherway Gardens, Fairview, Scarborough Town Centre, Square One and Markville.
You could try calling ahead to see if your size is available however some stores may keep it to themselves to avoid resellers. IYKYK.
