When summer hits in Toronto, it’s hard to get relief from the heat even after the sun sets. Thankfully, for that very reason, night swimming at City of Toronto pools is officially back on.

The City announced that a handful of outdoor public pools are now open until just before midnight to help people combat the sticky weather.

Keep in mind that these extended hours are in response to the current heat warning, so be sure to check the City of Toronto’s website before you go to ensure that night swimming is still being offered.

A complete list of City-run pools and splash pads, their operating hours, and programs can be found here.

And if you’re willing to venture out of the city for a big dose of refreshing aquatic fun, you can head to the very best waterparks, lazy rivers, and turquoise swimming holes around Ontario.
