Guess what, Vancouver? Joining the season of outdoor markets is a four-day night market at BC’s largest shopping centre, AKA Metropolis at Metrotown. The first-ever Night Market at the Met is set to launch this July, bringing together an array of delicious vendors, family-friendly activities, and live music. Best of all? It’s completely free to attend!
The free-to-enter night market will be inspired by the open-air hawker centres commonly found in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. Visitors can expect to savour mouthwatering bites from vendors such as Wakwak Burgers, Aburi’s WA Bagel, Butcher’s Block BBQ, Kam Wai Dim Sum, Don Oso, and Bak’d, to name just a few.
There will also be a free photo booth to take advantage of during your visit, along with live music, a street circus, balloon-making, and much more!
The market will be situated at the shopping centre’s outdoor South Plaza on Central Boulevard, facing the Metrotown SkyTrain Station.
