Edmonds Arts Festival

The Edmonds Arts Festival has grown from a small community art fair to one of the most prestigious in the Pacific Northwest, attracting artists from across the nation and Canada. The Festival offers free live entertainment, a juried gallery art exhibition and sale, a nationally-recognized juried student art exhibit, and a hands-on children’s art activity area, according to organizers, and it all goes down this week.

Solid Pink Disco with Trixie Mattel

This Friday, you can check out The Pink Pride Tour DJ Trixie Mattel. You can also expect DJ Mateo Segade and Yellacatt!

Food Walk summer series

The Food Walk summer series is back on the 3rd Saturday of June, July and August! At this walk, you will find $4, $6, and $8 offerings from restaurants and cafes across the CID and shop from local retailers.

Cost: Varies $4-$8

Strawberry Festival

It’s almost time for the Strawberry Festival Weekend in Burien. Falling over Father’s Day weekend, this is a family favourite event that includes a petting zoo on Saturday and car show on Sunday. There will be vendors and live music all weekend.

When: Saturday, June 15th, and Sunday, June 16th, 2024

Seattle Sounders

Watch some soccer as the Seattle Sounders play home games this month, including one this weekend. They are facing Minnesota United FC on June 15, FC Dallas on the 22nd, and Chicago Fire FC on the 19th.

Father’s Day Steam Train Celebration

On Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy a 2-hour Father’s Day train celebration! Head to the top of Snoqualmie Falls and enjoy views of the scenic lower river valley.

When: Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th
Where: Boards at Two Locations – North Bend Depot, 205 E McClellan Street, North Bend, and Snoqualmie Depot, 38625 SE King Street, Snoqualmie
Cost: $40 per adult (age 13-61), $36 per senior (age 62+), $20 per child (2-12)

Juneteenth 2024

Juneteenth is Northwest African American Museum’s opportunity to bring the community together for a celebration of Black freedom and liberation. Curated weekend of programs include the Annual Juneteenth Skate Party on June 15th, and Father’s Day on June 16th with free admission, music, films and a gift for fathers on the holiday.

When: Saturday, June 15th, Sunday, June 16th, 2024

Cost: Free

Father’s Day at the Museum of Flight

Dads will also get free admission on Father’s Day at the Museum of Flight. Dads accompanied by their children (of any age) receive FREE general admission to enjoy the Museum’s galleries and exhibits, according to the museum.

When: Sunday, June 16th
Where: The Museum of Flight, 9404 E. Marginal Way South
Cost: Dads get in free, $18.00 per youth (5-17) and $26 per adult

Seattle Mariners

Catch a Seattle Mariners game with dad and the fam! The Mariners face the Texas Rangers for an early game on Sunday, and there is even a game day giveaway: Father’s Day – Big Dumper Stadium Seat Cushion for the first 10,000 Dads.

Father’s Day at Salty’s

Brunch for dad is always a good idea. Tread your father to an all-you-can-eat seafood brunch buffet or dinner at Salty’s on Alki Beach.

When: Sunday, June 16th with brunch at 9 am-1:30 pm or dinner 4:30pm – 9pm
