Canada’s largest grape and wine festival kicks off in Ontario next month

Summer, you’ve been too good to us! What’s a better way to celebrate the last drop of summer weather than sippin’ on some fine wines? Nothing, really. You’re in luck! The Niagara Grape & Wine Festival is back this September and they’re going big!

It’s worth a trip to check out the almost month-long celebrations in wine county. Head down to St. Catherines on the September 16 to 18 weekend and check out the Montebello Park Wine & Culinary Experience. The park is free to enter however if you want a glass of wine, which you definitely will, vendors will be using a touchless and tokenless payment system for all food and drinks.

So make sure to grab your friends and enjoy over 100 Niagara VQA wines, mouth-watering local cuisine, 50+ hours of live music, and so much more.

Here’s where you can get TIFF-themed food and drinks in Toronto next month

For a more elevated experience, get your ticket for the Harvest Lounge presented by the Grape Growers of Ontario.

This experience offers a private bar stocked with VQA wines hand-selected by Niagara winemakers. Talk about quality! You can kick back and relax in cozy seating areas and lounge tables with a great view of the Centre Stage and a Tide & Vine Raw Bar to devour. The space also has its own private washrooms.

The festival is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year so if you’re unable to stop by the first weekend, stop by September 23 to 25 for round two.

Looking for a more unique experience? Snag a Discovery Pass and choose from 24 different winery locations across Niagara with their own harvest-inspired experience. Tickets are available for September 9 to 11, 16 to 18, and 23 to 25 weekends.

Each pass entitles you to six unique wine and culinary experiences for $49 and $39 for Driver’s Pass (non-alcoholic drinks). They are also offering Friday-only passes if you’re unable to experience it over the weekend.
