We’d be lying if we said that we didn’t miss 17th Avenue’s Royale and its 5-star decor, but that certainly doesn’t mean we’re not incredibly excited for a new restaurant to breathe some life back into the space. This sunny season, grab a drink and celebrate new beginnings at Porch YYC, Trolley 5’s brand new neighbour and a Red Mile staple-to-be.
Featuring what they describe as ‘reimagined comfort foods, crushable cocktails and a fun and fresh wine list,’ we think it’s safe to say that they’ll definitely be ones to watch.

Though as of right now, we haven’t heard much else about the new concept, we’ve totally been captivated by the very few words that they’ve used on their website.
You see, in addition to what sounds like a crowd-pleasing menu, they’ve also said that we can expect a hint of ‘modern nostalgia’ and that they’ll be offering an ‘eclectic atmosphere.’ Sounds amazing right?
Fortunately, it won’t be long until we can check it out for ourselves, as they’ve mentioned on their Facebook page that they’ll be opening in May of 2021.
