Hôtel SonoLux

SonoLux will soon be open in Old Montreal on St-Jacques Street, and will be located in the iconic National Trust Building. This will be the city’s first sound and light immersive hotel, and will include an art cinema, culinary lab, and audio lounge.

According to Tourisme Montréal, it will have 36 rooms.

When: Spring 2024

Le Petit Hôtel Notre-Dame

If you know the Petit Hôtel on Saint-Paul and are thinking it’s the same name, it is! Tourisme Montréal states that Le Petit Hôtel is opening a second location on Notre-Dame Street in Old Montréal. Having 17 rooms, it will include the same amenities as the first location, and it will be part of a developing hotel chain.

Casino de Montréal Hotel

Announced in December, Loto-Québec shared that they are planning a 200-room hotel on the grounds of the Casino de Montréal. You can expect a low-height building design as the project centres on respecting the unique character of Parc Jean-Drapeau.

Royalmount Hotel

Royalmount is a giant carbon-neutral real estate project that will include culinary experiences, entertainment, offices, and even an aquarium. Additionally, according to the developers, there will be a “hospitality hub, located halfway between the airport and downtown, where you can truly immerse yourself in the unique culture of the community.”

StarCité Hotel

Back in November, the Chambre de commerce de l’Est de Montréal announced plans for a new urban hotel in the heart of the Olympic Park. The project is set to transform the StarCité cinema space, keeping 6 movie screens and including then between 180 and 200 rooms, according to project designers Provencher Roy. The project will be developed by Gestion Georges Coulombe in collaboration with Compagnie France Film.
