Costco Wholesale has officially opened its latest store in Toronto’s Rexdale neighbourhood. And the best part is, they have a ton of opening week deals worth splurging on.

The 2260 Islington Avenue location opened its doors on November 2nd, marking the retailer’s 21st storefront in the GTA.

The new warehouse spans 164,162 square feet, offering a wide selection of food items within its specialty departments.

It has an on-site bakery, fresh meat, expansive produce area, rotisserie chicken section, optical centre and an on-site independent optometrist.

When it comes to deals, you can expect some nice savings like $200 off a Samsung 55-inch TV, $60 off a La-Z-Boy Manager Chair, and $50 off an 11-piece GreenPan cookware set.

Other departments to look out for include a hearing aid centre, five tire centre bays, a large food court, a gas station, and a pharmacy, too.

Look out for the nine new self-checkout sections and a multi-level underground parking garage with elevator access, a first for Costco in Eastern Canada.

“With the opening of this new warehouse, we can serve all of our members in the Northwest Toronto and surrounding area and bring new consumers and businesses to uncover the benefits of a Costco membership,” said Gino Dorico, Senior Vice-President and Country Manager, Costco Wholesale Canada.

“We are very proud to share this new location with our valued members and member businesses in the local community and throughout the area.”

Costco Wholesale currently has 861 warehouses worldwide and 107 warehouses just in Canada.
