Chipotle is opening a new downtown Toronto location & here’s where

Listen, we can never have too many Chipotle locations and downtown Toronto is adding a brand new one! The new spot is in the heart of the city’s Fashion District and that extra guac is callin’ our name!

Chipotle currently has 10 restaurants around Toronto, which includes two “Walk Up” locations. The new location will be at 430 King St W at the corner of Charlotte and King.

The new location is within walking distance of one of the other Toronto locations at 319 Queen Street W.

Opening

While there’s no official date on when the new location will open, it should be sometime soon.

The signage is already up at King and Charlotte, which appears to be taking over what was once Aroma Espresso Bar.

Chipotle confirmed to Curiocity that the location will open soon saying, “We are currently scheduled to open a new location in Toronto before the end of this year. It will be located at 430 King St W.”

The news comes on the tail of another exciting announcement from Chipotle, the opening of Edmonton’s first location!

The Edmonton restaurant is the third location in Alberta, bringing Chipotle’s footprint to 46 restaurants across Canada, and over 3,500 locations across North America, Europe and Kuwait.

If you’re from Edmonton or are visiting soon, it’ll be open as of Thursday, September 19th, 2024.

As for here in Toronto, we can’t wait to stroll over to King and Charlotte and get ourselves a burrito with extra guac.
