The Muttart Conservatory is transforming into a breathtaking floral wonderland

For a limited time, the Muttart Conservatory is transforming into a floral wonderland.

Fleurs de Villes: Artiste is making its way into the Muttart Conservatory for 10 days of showstopping floral pieces. This curated collection of 15 unique fresh floral mannequins is inspired by some of Edmonton’s arts and cultural organizations, all created by the city’s talented floral artists.

Artiste has travelled to 11 cities across the world so far, and now it’s finally Edmonton’s turn.

What to expect

If you aren’t familiar with it, the Muttart Conservatory is a botanical garden centre based in glass pyramids, with different themes for each pyramid. It frequently hosts special events and switches up its feature pyramid, and starting Sept. 26, Artiste will be taking over.

On the opening night of the 26th, guests can expect to be enchanted with breathtaking floral displays arranged by Edmonton artists. There will be an opening ceremony for those 18 and over, featuring gourmet cuisine, artfully prepared and inspired by the season’s freshest ingredients. Local artists will be invited to share their music and live watercolour illustrations, turning the evening into an unforgettable night.

Following the opening ceremony, on Sept. 28, the Muttart Conservatory will also be hosting an after-hours evening for those 18 and over.

Starting at 7 p.m., guests can wander through the glass pyramids and explore the designs and masterpieces by each individual artist. These one-of-a-kind displays will not be featured anywhere else, so this is your chance to witness the magic. This after-hours evening gives guests the chance to enjoy an intimate outing with friends, family, or their own loved one.

Those under 18 still have an opportunity to experience the magic.

This pyramid will be featuring Fleurs de Villes: Artiste until Oct. 5, so don’t miss out on this magnificent floral display!
