The Muttart Conservatory is opening its doors to the pyramids after hours.

For two days, you can celebrate the season with a warm evening in Edmonton’s Muttart Conservatory. With music, plants, and drinks galore, you can experience the Muttart in a new way and see its new feature pyramid: Winter Wonderland.

What to expect

The Muttart Conservatory always has a feature pyramid, and at this time, it’s Winter Wonderland.

You’re invited to step into the magic of the season and explore the dazzling pyramid filled with glistening silver and blue accents, vibrant poinsettias and a charming hundred-year-old sleigh. This seasonal display is bringing the cheer back into the holidays for sure.

As for the after-hours evening itself, those wanting to go to this experience have to be 18 and above.

There will be two opportunities for you to explore the pyramids after hours. The first is on Nov. 30, followed by the second evening on Dec. 5, with doors opening for both at 6:30 p.m.

Cellist Christine Hanson will be joined by a different special guest each night for an intimate program of seasonal favourites and timeless works. It’s the perfect, most charming way to begin the holiday season.

Cafe Bloom will be serving flavourful canapés and a drink with your ticket. Don’t worry, there’s an alcoholic and non-alcoholic option. You’ll also get to plant a plant in a special pot to take home!

This evening is the perfect opportunity for a beautiful, intimate date night, or just a nice, classy evening with friends and family.

No matter the occasion, it’s going to be a perfect party at the pyramids.
