These exciting TV shows & movies are filming in and around Vancouver

Hollywood North is back in full swing, with production underway for a whole host of shows, limited series, and movies in the coming months. From TV movies to drama series, to a highly-anticipated revival, here are some upcoming projects filming in & around Vancouver.
Remarkably Bright Creatures
Remarkably Bright Creatures is a book-to-film adaptation of the Shelby Van Pelt novel of the same name, directed by Olivia Newman and reportedly starring Academy Award-winning actress Sally Field. The project will commence filming in B.C. on March 3, 2025. So stay tuned for more info on filming locations to come!
When: March 3, 2025 to April 15, 2025
Providence Falls
Ready for a time travel romance?! Filming on Fraser Park Drive in Burnaby is the new Providence Falls limited series, based on the novel trilogy of the same name. According to Creative BC, this is a limited three-episode series produced by Reckless Pictures.
When: Now until March 24, 2025
Fire Country – Season 3
Starring Max Thieriot, Joan Rater, and Tony Phelan, Fire Country is a show following a young convict who joins a firefighting program in exchange for a shortened sentence. The show has been filming in Vancouver since last July, and wraps up on Feb. 25, 2025.
When: Now until Feb. 25, 2025
Tracker – Season 2
Starring Justin Hartley, Abby McEnany, and Eric Graise, Tracker is now in its second season, telling the story of Colter Shaw as he travels the country in an RV to help locate people who have gone missing, until his latest case changes everything. The show commenced filming in Langley last summer and will continue until April 2, 2025.
When: Now until April 2, 2025
Resident Alien – Season 4
Resident Alien is now in its fourth season, following the story of a crash-landed alien who takes the form of a small-town Colorado doctor. The series commenced filming last October at 2820 Underhill Avenue, Burnaby, and will continue until March 21, 2025.

Malcolm in The Middle (untitled)

Finally, we come to the highly-anticipated Malcolm in The Middle revival, which is in pre-production and currently untitled, but is set to feature returning stars Bryan Cranston, Frankie Muniz, and Jane Kaczmarek. According to Film & Television Industry Alliance (FTIA), the revival of the iconic family sitcom starts shooting in Vancouver on April 7, 2025.
When: Starts filming on April 7, 2025
