This popular Quebec ski resort is ranked among the best in the US and Canada

It’s almost mid-November, and it’s time to dig up the snow gear. If you’re looking for your next wintery trip, Condé Nast Traveler just released its Best Ski Resorts in the US and Canada: 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards, and Mount Tremblant in Quebec has made the top 20!

Coming in at 19th place, Mount Tremblant is joined by other Canadians on the list including Lake Louise Ski Resort (13th) and Marmot Basin (9th) in Alberta, as well as BC’s Big White (6th), and Whistler Blackcomb (2nd).

The top spot for 2023 was claimed by Snowmass in Colorado.

But we are here to marvel at our very Mount Tremblant.

“Northwest of Montreal in the gorgeous Laurentian Mountains, Mount Tremblant rises 2,116 feet, covers 755 acres, and, even with its gladed terrain, seems quaint compared to most contenders on this list,” states the the article. “But Tremblant brings exactly what you wish for from a European-inspired ski resort in French-speaking Quebec: a pedestrian village with boutiques at the foot of the mountain, ski events like Tremblant’s 24h, Tremblant World Cup, and Le P’tit Caribou, a rowdy apres-ski hotspot with a lake-facing terrace and bars upon which people are known to dance until 3 a.m. Major snowmaking investments mean the slopes are guaranteed to be good.”

For those who haven’t visited, Mount Tremblant is a four-season destination and ski resort. It has 102 trails for expert and beginner skiers, 14 lifts, 4 slopes, and 754 acres terrain.

Wondering who else made the top 10? These are the 10 Best Ski Resorts in the US and Canada: based on the 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards:

1. Snowmass, Colorado
2. Whistler Blackcomb, British Columbia
3. Deer Valley, Utah
4. Smugglers’ Notch Resort, Vermont
5. Aspen Mountain, Colorado
6. Big White, British Columbia
7. Sun Valley, Idaho
8. Bretton Woods, New Hampshire
9. Marmot Basin, Alberta
10. Killington, Vermont

Happy ski season!
