Canada is home to one of the most beautiful streets in the world & here’s where

Canada is known for many things. It’s architecture, natural beauty, and friendly faces. But this time around, we’re shifting our appreciation to the foundation that gets us from point A to point B. Yes, our roads. And in a new global list, it looks like this Canadian city is home to one of the world’s most beautiful streets.

Architectural Digest released its list of the 71 most beautiful streets in the world this past April. In the list countries like Switzerland, France, Spain and Portugal were mentioned. And we’re sure we can agree that it’s not a shock to us here in the western side of the world.

But within those 71 carefully curated countries, only one city in Canada was mentioned. And no, it’s not Yonge St in Toronto.

Hey Quebec, we’re looking at you!

Quebec City was placed in 10th overall for having the most beautiful streets in the world. And that we can’t argue.

“Quebec City makes a strong argument for being Canada’s most beautiful locale,” shares the list.

“And it’s with streets like Rue du Petit Champlain that makes it tough to beat. The charming, European-inspired street is lined with unique boutiques and bistros. This picture-perfect area is truly enjoyable during any season of the year.”

It looks like a roadtrip to Quebec is in order. But it isn’t the only street in Canada that has recieved some recognition.

Time Out shared its list of the ‘coolest’ streets in the world, and Commercial Drive in Vancouver came in fifth while Saint-Hubert Plaza in Montreal came in 27th.

Needless to say, Canada is full of a lot of cool things and apparently streets are one of them.
