MoPOP has been on a roll the past year and it’s starting 2023 on a high note with the opening of Hidden Worlds: The Films of LAIKA. The new exhibition celebrates the fantastical stop-motion animation works of Oregon-based studio LAIKA. Here’s what you can expect to see at the exhibition.

You may be most familiar with LAIKA for their classic film Coraline. Since bringing the story to life, the studio now has five Oscar-nominated films and more on the way.

MoPOP’s newest exhibition gives you unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the legendary studio’s groundbreaking production techniques, and allows you to check out immersive set displays, character interactives, and sneak peeks of upcoming work.
