This exquisite architecturally significant home on Medina’s “Gold Coast” is still available

Ready to take a look at something that’s probably out of 99% of people’s budgets? Welcome to Washington! This week we’re heading over to Medina, the Eastside’s little slice of paradise, for an estate that’s unsurprisingly expensive. Let’s check it out.

The property is nestled on Medina’s “gold coast” which is, unfortunately, nothing like Australia. However, the listing does claim that the home is the “epitome of modernism” which we’ll let you decide for yourself. It was designed by Wendell Lovett though so perhaps it’s the epitome of PNW modernism.

The home does a great job of highlighting the surrounding nature where the property sits. You’ll find a light-filled main and guest wing complete with 4 beds, 2 offices, a rec room, media, a library, a gym, a sauna, and a hot tub. Outside you’ll find a covered BBQ area, landscaped yard, and 125′ of low-bank waterfront.

So if you’re ready to wake up every morning with views of Lake Washington and an architecturally significant home, this might just be your new spot. However, it will cost you a pretty penny, $21.5 million to be exact. If that price doesn’t scare you, you can see more of this Medina home on Sotheby’s website.
