“PSA!!!”: One of McDonald’s most infamous menu items is back across Canada

When it comes to the staple menu items at McDonald’s, two options have always had us raising our eyebrows whenever someone ordered it. Of course, we’re talking about the Filet o’ Fish (which never went anywhere), and the McGriddles, that McDonald’s breakfast option offering the best of both worlds. Theoretically, at least.

So, after a two-year hiatus, we were surprised to learn that they’re officially back across Canada! The news came out via the McDonald’s Twitter account yesterday, sharing the sweet (yet surprisingly savoury?) update. After all, you’re literally eating two mini pancakes (with syrup) alongside the classic McDonald’s breakfast sandwich fillings.

“PSA!!! as of March 29, McGriddles are officially BACK in ALL (participating) restaurants across Canada!!,” said McDonald’s.

While some might be upset that the Shamrock Shake, the McRib, or even the McDLT hasn’t earned a permanent spot on the program, we’re still a little excited about it. After all, it’s been two years, and we seriously can’t remember the last time we dove into a mid-morning McGriddle.

Whatever the case, know that one of McDonald’s most infamous menu items is back, and won’t be going anywhere anytime soon! Is a syrupy celebration in order? We think so.
