Ready to step into a world of movie magic? Martini Film Studios has officially transformed its Langley film studio into a charming winter wonderland that’s now open to the public. Already the filming location of over 12 Hallmark movies, it’s not like the studio needs any help with setting the holiday mood – but the 16-acre backlot is getting a magical makeover nonetheless.
If you’ve always wanted to step inside a Christmasy Hallmark movie, now’s your chance!
The Hallmark transformation
From December 1st to January 1st, visitors of ‘Martini Town’ will have the opportunity to get a glimpse behind the proverbial curtains of BC’s film industry, all the while indulging in a magical holiday experience.
The outdoor site consists of many building facades and unique filming streetscapes – including an entire ‘small town,’ a New York City-themed Brownstone Street, a movie theatre with a lit marquee, a coffee shop, a diner, and a town square, and that’s just for starters.
“Martini Town Merry & Bright was created to bring some light and joy into the holiday season,” says Gemma Martini, the CEO and Founder of Martini Film Studios. “We acknowledge that many members of our community are facing hardship, and to provide our support, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Langley Food Bank.”

Every day that the event runs, visitors can walk through festive displays, enjoy live music, peruse an artisan market, visit Santa, and indulge in local food truck eats.
Plus, guests are encouraged to ask staff wearing “I Work in Film” pins about the roles in the BC film industry. So you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look while being on set!
For those who want to take the experience to the next level, there’s the Hallmark Fan Experience ($175 per person). This allows guests to take part in a panel discussion with seven Hallmark actors on the film backlot.

Merry & Bright at Martini Town will run from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. from Wednesday to Friday, and from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends.
Tickets are available online for $22 per adult and $12 per child.
