OUTDOORS AND IN THE MOUNTAINS

TAKE A SNOWSHOE TOUR THROUGH MARBLE CANYON

ATTEND A CANADIAN SKIJORING COMPETITION

Described on their website as the ultimate mashup of “rednecks, horses and ski bums,” the 5th ever Pole and Spur Skijoring competition will also have a beer garden, DJ, and food trucks in addition to the contest itself. Believe us when we say that this event will be unlike anything we’ve seen before.

GO INNER TUBING AT WINSPORT

HIT THE OLYMPIC PLAZA SKATING RINK

Have you hit the ice yet? If not, don’t fret because there’s still time! As Calgary’s only outdoor refrigerated ice rink, Olympic Plaza remains open and available to the public. Check it out and enjoy, folks!

GRAB A DRINK AT THE ICE BAR ON LAKE LOUISE 

Drinks, taffy, and a view to boot. This March, start your engine and head to the mountains for a day of skating, laughter and sipping. From now until the bar literally melts away in mid-April, check out the magically delicious ice bar on Lake Louise and grab a cold one!

WALK THE ICE CAVES AT MALIGNE CANYON
