This park in Quebec has a hiking trail that leads to stunning views of the lake & mountains

Ready for another outdoor adventure? It’s time to explore Quebec this fall. Get those hiking boots on and make your way to Marais du Nord wetlands. There are eight hiking trails to explore which lead to stunning views of the surrounding forests and mountains. Here’s what to know.

Located east of Montreal, about three hours away from the city is Marais du Nord. This is a special spot for outdoor enthusiasts and bird watchers alike.

To enjoy the stunning scenery, embark on one of the many hikes available – eight to be exact.

Travel through this beautiful natural site that is home to several observation points on the lake and the marshes and views of the mountains.

According to Ville de Quebec, these trails are perfect if you want to catch vistas of Lac Saint-Charles and Rivière des Hurons.

Fees

In order to enjoy the park and its trails, a daily fee of $6 will be charged, $4.50 for students and seniors, $3 for children aged six to 17.

Marais du Nord is open year-round so whenever you have a moment to escape your busy life, make sure to add it to your weekend plans.
