From the mountain peaks and valleys, Alberta is one of the most incredible places on the planet – but don’t just take our word for it! Experience its beauty (both above and below the horizon) on the Maligne Canyon Ice Cave Tour – a unique expedition offered in the winter months.
Organized by Pursuit (the company behind Banff’s magical Gondola and the Golden Skybridge), this scenic walk will expertly guide travellers through the deepest canyon in the Rockies.

At a depth of more than 50 metres, those who brave the 2.5-hour tour will explore icy caves, will get to walk under frozen waterfalls and will be encouraged to look upward from the chilly gorge floor.
From fossils and unique structures, you’ll also learn a thing or two about the area’s geography and will get to indulge in a smokehouse lunch at their Wilderness Kitchen.

For your safety, tours will only depart if the weather cooperates and will operate between now and April 3, 2023, so check it out while you still can!
