Get excited, friends! Kortright Centre for Conservation is bringing back its Magical Christmas Forest and it’s going to be as enchanting as ever.

“Experience a winter wonderland filled with lights, crafts, activities, wagon rides, and treats for the whole family,” the description says.

You’ll also get to visit Santa in his cozy cabin and dine on delicious food.

The menu features a variety of mouthwatering comfort food, hot drinks, and fun boozy beverages like spiked warm apple cider.

Your admission ticket also comes with hot chocolate and marshmallows!

Dress for the weather as this event is almost completely outdoors.

Just a 10-minute drive north of Toronto, Kortright Centre sits on 325 hectares of pristine woodlands.

It’s a breathtaking destination in every season, especially with freshly fallen snow and twinkling holiday lights.

When you’re ready to warm up, you can head over to the nearby village of Kleinburg.

The charming village is home to “spas, one-of-a-kind boutiques, world-class dining, and European charm,” its website says.

It’s best known for the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, an art museum on 100 acres of forested land by the Humber River.

Once you’ve done the gallery, you can wander through the historic village of Kleinburg, where shops, restaurants, and cafes line the streets.

The small eclectic boutiques sell “unique treasures and hard-to-find items” that make perfect holiday gifts.

We can’t think of a better itinerary to experience festive cheer and small-town charm all in one day.
