There’s a dazzling holiday drive in Edmonton featuring over two million lights

This drive in Edmonton will have you experiencing the holidays like never before.

Canadian Tire’s Magic of Lights is Edmonton’s longest light tunnel, featuring over two million lights spanning across 2.7 kilometres. You can stay in the warmth of your car and watch all the dazzling attractions from the safety of your vehicle.

What to expect

At RAD Torque Raceway, the holidays mean the transformation into a beautifully lit-up drive. It’s perfect for family, friends, or just a drive with a special loved one.

There are so many themes and things to see at Magic of Light! This includes festive scenes like Candyland, Toyland, 12 Days of Christmas, and the all-new Prehistoric Christmas.

For this event, you don’t have to get out of your car to enjoy the holiday festivities. In fact, you’re supposed to stay in the warmth of your car! One person in the car gets to drive around as everyone gets to enjoy the heated car inside and the holiday cheer outside.

Don’t worry, the price is only per carload. You don’t need tickets for each person, only one for the entire vehicle.

Tickets are available online, which is recommended. There is an additional $5 surcharge that applies to passes purchased at the gate sales.

Admission is flexible, meaning your ticket is valid any day and time the event is open during the 2025 season. If you don’t want to wait in line, you can expedite your visit with a Dash Pass to skip the line. There is also an exclusive Dash Pass entry included with Limo and Bus Passes.

In light of supporting the community this holiday season, a portion of the proceeds from each vehicle will go to supporting 880 CHED Santas Anonymous and Canadian Tire Jumpstart.
