Attention west coast travellers! For those looking to travel from Edmonton to Vancouver, there’s a new flight option for you. The ultra-low cost Canadian airline, Lynx Air, recently announced its new route and it has some pretty low prices to kick off its latest flights.

Earlier this summer, in July, Lynx Air‘s first flight from Edmonton International Airport took to the skies, with departures scheduled to and from Toronto Pearson International Airport and St John’s International Airport.

And as a Halloween treat, the airline is offering flights to Vancouver starting October 31. According to Vancouver International Airport, “Lynx Air is expanding its services out of YVR with a new route to Edmonton. Starting October 31, trick-or-treat yourself to an ultra affordable YEG ticket from $49 (one way including taxes).”

Heading over to Lynx’s website, flights at $49 are available one-way to Vancouver throughout the month of November. Return flights are currently $98, with all taxes. Mind you, this doesn’t include any added checked bags.

According to Lynx Air, as “Canada’s new ultra-affordable airline” it is on a mission to make air travel accessible to all Canadians. Lynx is offers fares to Edmonton from as low as $59 one-way. Its network spans 10 destinations across Canada, including Victoria, Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto Pearson, Hamilton, Halifax and St. John’s.
