If you’re going to chase waterfalls, Alberta should be on your Canadian summer hit list.
From High Level to Cardston, there are some incredibly picture-perfect destinations and Lundbreck Falls is definitely among them.
Located south of Calgary, Lundbreck is a beautiful 39-foot waterfall, surrounded by rolling hills and open sky, fed by the Crowsnest River.
Here, guests are encouraged to take it all in from the comfort of their own vehicle, on the observation deck, or the splash zone – which is down in the canyon.
Want to extend your visit? Stay the night!
Nearby, happy campers can fish, have a picnic or take it easy at the campsite, then come back as many times as they’d like.
In the summertime, it can get pretty busy, but believe us when we say that it’s still worth a trip – especially because it’s just off the highway!
If of course, seeing it once just isn’t enough, you can book a site now, just remember to take note of any fire bans currently in effect.
Heck, if you’re really looking for adventure, maybe consider taking Highway 22 (or the Cowboy Trial) on the way there and really get your gas worth!
Along this particular route, you’ll also see Canada’s Rocky Mountian Foothills, Western-themed attractions, accommodations, farms and ranches – it really is something else!
