Happy Lunar New year! If you’re looking to usher in the Year of the Dragon, we have a Seattle night market just for you.

Seattle Night Markets is hosting their 4th Annual Lunar New Year Night Market this weekend, on Saturday, February 10th.

This year, you can expect great food, music, and “the Drunken Lion dance with an illuminated makers market!”

According to Chinese New Year, “the Chinese zodiac, or Sheng Xiao (生肖), is a repeating 12-year cycle of animal signs and their ascribed attributes, based on the lunar calendar. In order, the zodiac animals are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig.”

They add that recent years of the Dragon include 2024 (this year), 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976, 1964, and 1952, with the next Dragon year in 2036.

Featured entertainment at this weekend’s night market will also include a dance party by DJ Moobek + DJ Accia featruing DJ Hwarang, with dance performances by K POP Seattle.

You can expect 70 makers, vintage, imports & food purveyors. There will also be food trucks, a cocktail bar, as well as a “boozy boba bar pop-up”.

And don’t forget to pass by the Lunar New Year Photo Booth!

This will be a 21+ event, and tickets will be required.
