Reminder: You can see a ‘super blood moon’ Lunar Eclipse this weekend

Looking for a little bit of weekend wonder? Turns out that all you have to do is look up! A dazzling Lunar Eclipse is going down this weekend, and will be visible from coast to coast. Assuming the skies are clear, that is. Here’s a quick reminder of what to expect.

A celestial treat – night owls from coast to coast will be able to catch a glimpse of the event this Sunday, May 15th, as long as the weather participates – so cross your fingers, for a clear sky!

Time zones, of course, will also play a role in who sees what this year – but rest assured, everyone will get to enjoy a slice of the Sunday spacetravaganza.

According to timeanddate.com, Eastern and Central time zones will be able to see the entire eclipse from beginning to end, while those bordering and along the west coast will see the event in progress as the moon rises.

The best part? Unlike so many other astrotastic happenings, this one will actually be visible in the evening so you can still get up for work successfully on Monday.

From off-yellow to bright orange, black, and back again – you really won’t want to miss this one, friends. It’s going to be incredible.

Enjoy!
